The Birdville Rotary Club has enjoyed an outstanding month of September filled with fellowship, service, and inspiration. We were privileged to hear from several excellent speakers who shared valuable insights and perspectives with our members. Their presentations sparked meaningful conversations and reinforced our commitment to serving our community.
We were also excited to welcome new members into the Birdville Rotary family. Their addition brings fresh energy, ideas, and enthusiasm to our club, and we look forward to the impact they will make through Rotary service.
A special highlight of the month was the visit from District 5790 Governor Angie Cox. Her encouragement, leadership, and vision for Rotary inspired our members as we continue working to make a difference both locally and globally.
Looking ahead, Birdville Rotary is already hard at work planning our first major fundraiser, scheduled for the weekend of February 6, 2027. This exciting event will feature a Family Feud-style tournament designed to bring our community together while raising funds to support local nonprofit organizations that are making a positive impact throughout our area.
As plans continue to take shape, there will be many opportunities for members and community partners to get involved through service, sponsorships, and event participation. Be on the lookout for additional details in the coming months.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support the mission of Birdville Rotary. Together, we are strengthening our community through service above self.

Do you know any established professionals in the North Richland Hills, Richland Hills, Haltom City, Watauga or surrounding area who wants to make a positive change in our community and the world?
Our club members are dedicated people who share a passion for community service and friendship. Invite a friend to become a Rotarian so they can connect with a diverse group who share your drive to give back. Please invite them to our next meeting.
Rotary is a global network of more than 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
Solving real problems takes real commitment and vision. For more than 110 years, Rotary's people of action have used their passion, energy, and intelligence to take action on sustainable projects. From literacy and peace to water and health, we are always working to better our world, and we stay committed to the end.
Our mission
We provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
Vision statement
Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
What we do
Rotary members believe that we have a shared responsibility to take action on our world’s most persistent issues. Our more than 45,000 clubs work together to:
Promote peace
Fight disease
Provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene
Improve maternal and child health
Support education
Grow local economies
Protect the environment
"Service Above Self" is the principal motto ofRotary International, guiding its 1.2 million+ members to prioritize unselfish, community-focused service over personal gain. Originating from a 1911 speech at the annual convention, this philosophy drives Rotary's global efforts to fight disease, provide clean water, support education, and foster peace.
We'll see you at our next meeting this Friday at 11:45 AM.
